Actually David and his wife both need new cars…We’ve been talking incessantly about what to get and here’s what we’ve come up with so far.  One car/sedan, one SUV.

The polls are open, let me know what you think…I am accepting suggestions but only for another couple weeks, then I’m locking myself in my room and rolling my eyes at anyone who tries to give me a suggestion.  Get in while you still can.

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies

The Zombie Survival Guide: Complete Protection from the Living Dead

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

What?  Your telling me that you wouldn’t want to see honest Abe chop up some vampires?  Or watch those stuck up chicks run from some zombies? As for the Zombie Survival Guide, It looks fun but I already read World War Z, which was awesome and I think maybe I’ll be dissapointed by this one (same author) plus it reads more like…well, like a survivval guide rather than a novel  which I guess is the point.

None the less, these books just seem fun! The originals sound incredibly boring and stale but this twist just brings a smile to my face. I’m not even that big of a fan of the whole zombie/vampire culture but this just seems like a fun twist to liven up a dull “classic”.

I want to get a Kindle.  I think I need a kindle, especially when I go on a flight and take three books; one that I’m already reading, a second that I will start when I finish the first, but its a short book so what happens on the flight home if I finish the second….I might need a third!  A kindle would solve this easily.

Unfortunately I also get extreme buyers remorse on anything over $5 and with the release of the iPad, I’m afraid that something like this might happen…and it should happen!  But then I go and see that the price just dropped on the kindle!

Did you know that I like cookies? I like them so much that sometimes if I don’t have a cookie, I turn into this…

It’s true…It’s also true that I was in NYC this past week and there just happens to be a bakery in the city that calls to me. I’ve been tossing and turning in my sleep just thinking about these banana cookies in the days leading up to my trip.

Momofuku Milk Bar makes amazing cookies but unfortunaly the most heavenly banana cookie you could ever imagine is no longer sold there and alas I had to settle for some of their other great cookies!…have I told you how much I enjoy a good cookie?

Needless to say, I got my fix during the trip and it was good.  Props to Dasha for making the  delivery of some amazing cookies from Milk bar.

I did it. Switched to Blogger from WordPress.com.  Why you ask?  Allow me to explain…

  • I like Google
  • WordPress has horribly restrictive templates.  Check out Bloggers new template designer!
  • Blogger works much better with third party applications and widgets (especially Google Analytics!)
  • I’ve decided to use Picassa over Flickr
  • Blogger is just more flexible!
